PBEM 64

From the second try:
Quote:Just, you know, play a game as it lies? With the cycle-sync meltdown of PB24 and the map hiatus of PBEM 64 we could call it either one, depending on the number of people. Rather than make some sort of effort-filled balance nightmare setup, settings:
Rolled Pangaea with fairish (novtool~300) distribution.
CTON (or AW if PBEM size and preferred)
Prince Difficulty
Normal Speed
Barbs on
Events, huts off
EP on
Two random combos given each player, pick one of them.
RBmod 2.7.0.4 or whatever is current.
Don't be a jerk.
Do play your turn regularly.
Don't melt down.
Do approach this as just game to play with some other dudes.
I'm not even against BtS with the usual ban set and someone normalizing combos via mix-matc

Welcome, damprobber!

I guess a couple things; I was assuming Quick Speed and not seeing starts before picking from the 3, but anyone have a preference otherwise?

Additionally, if Krill can't find the code in the meanwhile I'm fine with the current .2 version, thoughts?

Settings are fine, but I'd also like to see the start.

Commodore Wrote:Given RtR, leader/civ method I'd favor would be Mardoc rolls three random combos per player, each player picks one (have Mardoc ditch Dutch/Portugal/Viking sea civs)

I'd prefer a bit more choice. Maybe roll 3 civs and 3 leaders separately and then pick one of each.
