This was a convenient way to get some MP warfare practice. Not expecting to win but hopefully learn a lot. I guess although it is casual, I will sim a lot and try to win.

Settler started S of Corn, warrior on ivory. South looks to have a lot of desert from fog gazing and not settling next to corn looked questionable so moved settler N,W to obvious spot to start the city. Might be hard to irrigate the corn eventually but we will see.

So Commodore might have mentioned this in his thread, but we restarted because it looked like we were on different continents.



Settler started W of rice. Warrior move didn't reveal any food. Moved settler NW then W since the capital will likely need river cottages and found more food. Not ideal, but will do.

I will probably do a fast land grab on both directions.

Commodore's scout is at PHF NE of horse. I sometimes really wonder why players like to rush to the other capital. Could they not tell what the capital is doing from demos? Not using the scout to locate potential city sites seems questionable but I could be mistaken as well. There was a forest growth in cap and to W of the Eastmost rice tile that messes my plans up. Probably wheel then BW.

Durrrr. Of course he is being very smart. Since this is mirrorland, he is scouting his expansion while seeing what is going on in my city.

The first city will actually go 3N of capital. Pretty sure he went AH->TW->Mining
