I'll dedlurk you here... I've been very bipolar about Civ and had some serious burnout even on reading the forums, but I feel like getting back to it a little.
What do you think of your opposition here? Any particular Civ / Leader combos you want? I haven't followed RtR much at all lately, any changes since PB18 to the mod that are really interesting and will affect the game? Will this be like your PB11 start or more like your PB13 position, say stuck 7 tiles away between Gavagai, German Joey, and Commodore?
Quote:1.) German Joey
2.) HAK (wants a dedlurker)
3.) Commodore + dtay
4.) RETEP, DESTROYER OF GAMES
5.) Grimace
6.) Gavagai
7.) BRickAstley (tentatively; requires a dedlurker)
8.) Donovan Zoi + AdrienIer
9.) Elkad
10.) Borsche
I guess the good news is there's nobody who is God-tier on this list, right? And a few of these players are in the "free land" tier either at HA / Cats or Knights, so a lot of this game's final result is going to depend on who starts next to weak players, imo.
I think the only team here who could be terrifying is Dtay and Commodore. If they work well together, and Commodore has the sense to let Dtay drive the micro and econ, and he can be the general, he could use his experience to cover up Dtay's weaknesses perfectly, and then yikes. Joey and Gavagai are both solid, but uhh a little volatile, you know? Everyone else on this game I'm pretty sure you can beat just on the basis of mechanics, unless there's a rising star there I'm not aware of.

Happy to have you here William.
About the oposition nbody seems to be much better than the others, perhaps Como+Dtay but knowing Commodore selfdestruc nature, I'm not really worried about him.
I don't have any combo in mind but maybe I should try something new, I was leading towards IMP but not sure about it yet I kind of want to see the snake pick order first.
Oh boy, I will prefer to play a PB13 than PB11 position. Yes I played PB13 in such a terrible way, but in my denfece that was my second MP game!
Anyway I'm a little excited about this game, now that I have more experience (or should I said I have experimentent more with my other games ![neenerneener neenerneener](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/neenerneener.gif) ) with the game in a MP enviroment I want to give it a shoot at winning.

I wonder if serious retep reports his games...
You are trash talking me in the tech thread, right? So I'll trash talk you here! ![smoke smoke](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smoke.gif) Just wait until you make your picks, I'll definetely criticize them.

It wouldn't be a PB game without drama in the set-up thread, right? ![rolf rolf](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/rolf.gif) Also I'm just curious because I can't read the PB18 lurker thread, do people who who Barry Lyndon is / was? Maybe we need a Smurf tier list. Perhaps Mikehendi is the top, then Goreripper. Or maybe The Black Sword gets the top spot. (Trolling).
Yeah, I think Imp would be fun too. You're basically guaranteed to be at the top of the land grab phase. It synergizes (a bit) with the extra hammer in the capital if you don't settle on a plains hill. (I think that's in this version of the mod, the change where a capital city always has at least 2 hammers?) And I also think the GG emergence is under-rated, like the rest of the military bonuses (Agg, Cha). Just a little bit of a luck with a GG popping in the right place can totally swing a big battle and make it decisive, not to mention all the cheap tricks possible with them (unload -> promote morale -> move).
Any Commodore / Gaspar style player breakdowns with bright colors and pictures?
Also, hi Ichabod.

Bottom tier for people who leave their initials in their smurf name?

Ichabod is here, my trick has worked perfectly. ![dancing dancing](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/dancing5.gif)
I do intend to report this game as much as my usual lazyness let me.
I can't/hadn't read the lurker thread of PB18 either since I'm (suposably) ded lurker OH/Fintourist. But I have always believe that Dtay is Sulla. I still do
I think the whole everyone start with a PH plant is part of the new (still in work) version of the Mod that Krill is working on it.
I'm last in the snake pick, this probably means that some of the more "cool" options will be gone, however I get to have maximun sinergy in my pick.
I'll have some ideas on my head but I'll wait to see my start before thinking too much but I still think IMP could be cool.
I could try to make some analysis of my oponents but I was actually thinking of going through some old threads and just steal Analysis that other people have already writte about this particular crow. I'm going for the all nostalgyc touch.
