Satyagraha - Gandhi's philosophy of nonviolence

Hi,

I've finally found the time to report about another private game. This time it was with the variant rule that I would not be allowed to build any military units! eek If you like to read about it, look here.

This is dedicated to Charis, who did a similar game in Civ 3 and whose crazy reports about crazy games I really miss... smile

Ah yes. Well, it was a good effort. At least you had a good time with it. wink

Those results are probably better than I would have obtained. thumbsup

huh

Did Sirian read the same game report as I did?

"Worth a shot"?
"good effort"?
"At least...good time"?

huh

Maybe he's unimpressed that you picked friendly opposition. lol

Brilliant. Now try against Monty, Toku, Issy, Ghengis. Actually, if you could engineer it this time so that the world is always at war, but never against you, it could work...

Did I mention "brilliant"?

Yes he has, since it stemmed from a CivFanatics discussion about whether a No Military game was viable.

An excellent game, I wonder if it is possible with the crazies (ie. Izzy, Monty and and the whole crew that should be on medication) nudge, nudge Kylearan.

That's not a very prominent location. This effort is worthy of its own thread in the Stories n Tales forum.

No, no...try it like this, "Okay, so he did it with the peaceful civs, but it would be IMPOSSIBLE to do it with the violent, crazy civs. The AI is just too different i Civ4. He'd be eaten alive."
