I bring the chaos.

When my neighbor sees my scout:
Aiming for a mix of FIN, AGR, CHA. Might depend on the lands though. At least financial is less shit than in RtR. For Civ.. I suppose one with good starting techs? Although India looks pretty good despite the fast worker cost increase.
Here is the starting BFC sandbox for you to look at and start planning, if you choose to do so. This accurately represents what the starting BFC will look like when you load into the game.
The file has any strategic resources stripped out (since you would not know those on turn 0). All non-BFC tiles are water, even ones you can see at the start. Obviously, the leader/civ is randomly assigned ![]() Link to the starting sandbox: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6890...wordWBSave
Completed: PBEM 34g (W), 36 , 35 , 5o, 34s, 5p, 42, 48 and PB 9, 18, 27, 57
Current: PB 52. Boudicca of Maya
Okay so I picked Hannibal (Charismatic / Financial) of India.
Charismatic will raise our early game pop cap. We can work more cottages to start growing them. It's good to hit that raised financial threshold as soon as we can and it'll be money in the bank. In the very early game we will of course utilize the full power of the whip for production. India I don't think as a superpower but I decided that it fits with our synergies. The extra movement should offset the 16% increase in cost and in the end allow us to create improvements faster than normal to keep up with our plan of having large cities early. If we happen to be the only mysticism starter we could grab buddhism for border popping. It does however make our first 30 turns or so feel slow as fuck as there will be wasted turns between improving our early resources and getting BW for chopping. Anyway that's the jist of it. I'm happy with the combo, it's not game-breaking or cheesy but it's a solid foundation for the game and what I want to do in it.
Dammit, the last team had to go and pick a mysticism civ. We can say goodbye to a safe road to a religion.

However the message still stands. There is one Civ whose traits were changed in this mod, and that's Sumeria. They get mysticism.
Did you already set your password? I'm trying to log in as your civ to test.
Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
Worked OK for me:
Maybe try reinstalling the mod? Make sure it is extracted correctly (no duplicate folder under the mod installation folder)? Try starting a single player game in ToW 1.4?
