Hi Ellimist,

Ichabod just noticed your starting screenshot has a problem, in that the corn to the SW of your starting settler is dry. That's a mistake - it was supposed to be a wet corn. So, you can assume that the tile 1N of the corn will be a grassland tile, turning the coast 1N of the silk into a lake.

Here's your sim for EITB PBEM XLVIII:

You currently have a random leader set, but it is very easy to change:

1.) Put the save in your saves/Worldbuilder directory

2.) Open Windows Explorer, and go to your saves/Worldbuilder directory. Sort by date modified.

3.) Open Notepad (or your favorite text editor).

4.) Open EITB

5.) Go to Single Player -> Custom Game. Set number of players to 2, the difficulty to emperor, and select the leader you want. Other settings will not matter.

6.) Once the game loads, open the worldbuilder. Click on save, and choose a name like "eitb_simset.CivBeyondSwordWBSave" or whatever. Don't close the worldbuilder.

7.) Go back to windows explorer. Drag eitb_simset.CivBeyondSwordWBSave into notepad.

8.) Press Ctrl-F, and search for "BeginPlayer" (with no quotes). Copy from BeginPlayer to EndPlayer, like this.

9.) Now drag your sim file into notepad. Again find BeginPlayer and select to EndPlayer. This time, paste and save.

10.) Going back to the worldbuilder, select Load and choose your sim file.

11.) Once the game loads, go into the worldbuilder and set the correct starting tech for your civ. Alternatively, you can set it in notepad by doing a similar procedure as above but with BeginTeam/EndTeam.

Thanks Joey.

I've been working through the changelogs and checking the civs out in game, but it's tricky to figure out the full scope of what has changed.

I understand that the Calabim have been substantially nerfed? Specifically, what has been done to them?

Elohim have been buffed, but upgrading Monks into Priests then Druids doesn't let them cast the High Priest spells?

I hear the Clan has been nerfed but am not sure how. Warrens increases maintenance cost, but is that all?

I did a diff of v12's and v12.1's assets, and there weren't too many changes other than to the spell stuff...

Looks like Warrens also decrease commerce by 1 per tile now?

Governor's Manor now requires Math. Vampires appear to be base 5str instead of 6? But then their worldspell is buffed to have an extra population point worth of difference.

The spell stuff was kinda confusing but mostly seemed like restructuring rather than rebalancing, I think. The one significant balance change I noticed was that Tsunami is back to range 2.

It might be only -1gpt total rather than 1 commerce per tile. The buffed river of blood also requires Feudalism to cast.
