I'm sorry for the delays on posting new events.

We are still waiting on a patch.

The bright side is that at some point the patching will stop and we'll have no more of these dry spells.

Ah, dang. WHen is the patch supposed to be out? I expected it out a long time ago.

Well lets hope the patch isn't to long. If I start getting sucked in GalCiv2 and a few others I may not have any time for the epics.

Thamer answered the question about the status on patch here:

thamer Wrote:Guys, the patch is in final testing. It was submitted to QA last month but then they got put on a different product, so Civ had to wait to get the test cycles that were needed. Obviously the process took longer than expected, so that's why no one can give firm dates. It is out of our control now so I'm waiting for QA to give the go ahead as well. I think it should happen very soon, but who knows, a last minute showstopper could be discovered... However, I think it's going to be a great update and well worth the wait.

No need to apologize, unless you are single handedly holding the patch up lol and I don't think that you are. It will come when in comes.

I'm apologizing for not having events running. THAT is my responsibility.

Well, what would you do differently if a patch delay like this happens in the future? There has to be a way we can hold games through the patch transition.

Well, the patching process can't last forever, so I'd expect this to become less of an issue as time goes on.

No worries for me; I've kinda been waiting on the patch to play CIV now anyway - I've been experimenting with that strange idea called "Real Life", and I have to say that it is definitely overrated! [Image: lol.gif]
