RB Forum Upgrade Troubleshooting

I am working on upgrading the forum software to the newest version of MyBB. This upgrade has a large number of bugfixes and changes. One of the side effects is a significant change to themes, and since the theme we use is heavily modified, it isn't an easy transition.

My current plan is to make the upgrade to the forums, and make enough changes to the theme to retain as much functionality is possible. After the upgrade is complete, I'll start working with KingOfPain (and any other volunteers) to rebuild our RB themes into 1.8 themes, so they can pick up all new functionality and hopefully last longer into the future.

Here is a link to the 'development' version of our site. Feel free to log on and look around, and report back here if you see any errors or oddities that might need attention.

The hope is that if there aren't any major outstanding issues, I can make this update live sometime in the middle of next week.

• Quick Edit does not work.

I'm also playing around with some alternate themes that are made for 1.8, seeing if any would be viable with some tweaks as a primary theme in case trying to port our current theme won't be a good short term option.

If you want to see one, go to your user profile or the bottom of any page to change themes to the 'iGame' theme.

How long will it take to restore the "View today's posts" button's functionality? It's the main way I browse the site. Edit: Also it appears the long thread lag is completely gone.

It looks like it works, it just didn't return anything because there hadn't been any posts in the last 24h on the test forum. I made a post and it showed up.

Ah, thank you for testing that. The forum appears functional, I'm not seeing any issue with moving over.

I'm not seeing any issues. I probably could break it if I set such a task to myself, but non-crazy user scenarios seem to work as they should (apart from known issues)
The only minor thing I noticed is the RB icon is missing in the tab title in Chrome (this could even be intentional)

The icon missing is just because I haven't set one up for the testing subdomain. It won't apply to the real upgrade

Is anyone seeing SQL errors when loading either site? Sareln is having issues that I'm not able to replicate.

A side note, I've noticed that the site is slower the last day or so. I attribute that to having 2 copies of the forums online at the same time right now, we'll see if that continues after upgrade.
