Sql error

I'm sure this is the wrong place for this, but every time I try to go to the caster of magic sub forum I get an error:

MyBB SQL Error
MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
2002 - Connection timed out
Query:
[READ] Unable to connect to MySQL server
Please contact the MyBB Group for support.


If I go to a particular thread it's fine, any other forum on the site is fine. Is there something I can do to avoid this? (I'm hoping I'm just doing something silly and it's an easy fix on my end)

I believe the timeout is caused by having both the main forum and a development subforum both up and using the same resources (See thread in Off Topic for details), this problem should be resolved when I perform the forum software update this week.

After 3 days the problem fixed itself. Thus is all on my phone so I'm not sure what really fixed it though.
