As the thread title says, I'm looking for recommendations for a free antivirus program to install on my Samsung Galaxy 5 ("Active" version). I've checked out the Google Play store, but most of the dozens of offerings have suspiciously high ratings, and even ones from well-known publishers like Avast seem to demand an alarming number of permissions. Might be they need to be able to access any & all features of my phone to do their jobs, but I'm pretty concerned. Could use some informed advice!
