Variant rules:

1. The first move of the game must be to disband the initial settler
   
2. Any settlers acquired from huts must be disbanded at once
   
3. No settlers may be trained

I've seen disbanding the initial settler done on fairly easy difficulties, but nothing that significant so far. It probably is doable, as you say, though maybe not on Noble.

Interesting (if short ) read...i think perhaps raging barbs may be extremely helpful to this variant, either in nabbing a barb city OR in slowing the growth of the AI. I think the Inca are definitely the way to go w/this variant...keep us informed!
