Supply Commander

I'm considering to have at least one hero that comes with this ability as default.
I'm satisfied with most existing heroes however, so it's not easy to add it anywhere.

This is my best idea for now :

Rename "Orc Warrior" into "Orc Archer". Replace thrown with a bow attack, sword with a bow slot, add Supply Commander.
Pros :
-more archer heroes, ability makes sense on an archer hero.
-gets rid of redundancy : barbarian and orc warrior are both 0 fame melee thrown heroes.

Cons :
-existing hero sprites don't show the hero wielding a bow. (tho this isn't an issue for the optional portrait files where it'll be replaced anyway.)
-gets rid of the only 0 fame melee hero with a random ability slot
-means every melee hero that can attack flying units will come with Might as a default ability (maybe change the Barbarian to not have it but get a random one? Or maybe two?)
-overall, number of melee heroes in 0 fame tier becomes a bit too low (might want to move the Thief back to fame 0? I miss her, was so amazing in the early game...also fame 5 has too many melee heroes.)
-gets rid of the "stronger starting stats without might" role the hero has at the moment as an alternative to hiring the Barbarian.

Not sure how much fame should this hero require - Supply Commander is probably too good for 0 fame.

I like this idea.

More archer heroes is good. The orc seems to be made redundant by the barbarian.

lack of bow with orc hero sprite is only a mild annoyance at most. Non-issue for me.

Neutral on the other points above.

I like the idea of the orc archer. I don't like the idea of too few 0 fame melee heroes.

I'd be almost tempted to make the thief an archer, if the third didn't have too much stuff already.

I don't like the orc archer for flavour reasons, I'd rather see a dwarven crossbowman or perhaps even an orc one though.

I have also always been irked by the thief not being able to equip bows...

Well, if someone draws a dwarven crossbowman hero, we can have that instead but otherwise we can only use what we have and that's Bahgtru.

Doing the optional portrait heroes is more than enough for me so if someone wants something new for default heroes, it's up to them to draw it.

btw there already is a "The Dwarf" in the game. It's the non-thrown fame 0 hero. Do we really need two fame 0 Dwarf heroes?

Either way I think we first need to decide the stats, costs, and which hero to replace, and then we can think about what title and graphics match it best, if the existing one is not appropriate.

Swapping titles between the thief and the new hero, so the supply commander becomes the thief and the lucky agility the orc is another option tho I like the thief as is. Agility and Lucky are definitely matching abilities for the class, and I don't really want either on a low fame archer.

5 shields, and 5 resist
12 hit points
8 ammo (ability increases it to 10)
Supply Commander
1 random warrior leader ability
0 fame, 200 gold, 4 maintenance.
Bow/Shield/Accessory slot

Thief
changed to 0 fame, but still requires 300 gold (as it's an amazing hero to be honest, and one of the only two that have extra movement). I think this is flavorful - a thief works for money and doesn't care about the reputation of the employer.

This way there are 4 melee heroes (one caster, one thrown), 3 archers (one caster) and 2 magicians among the fame 0 heroes.
