Warlord + Tactician

Please share your opinion on whether you want to allow Warlord+Tactician to be picked together to stack +2 armor bonus on every normal unit, or not.

Honestly, I don't care. I think its required for hero strategies, which has nothing to do with normal units. 

For normal units, except for early game rush shenanigans, I don't really think it makes that much difference. I have no issue dropping tactician from my bezerker strategy because it doesn't do enough. I only use it because its better  than other options, not because its a great improvement.

(When using my bezerker strategy but with the myrran retort, tactician is the retort that's dropped to make space.)

Therefore, since hero strategies need to allow the combination, and normal units don't gain that much from it, I don't think its worth an exclusion.

The only place its a problem is early rush units, and common life buffs give enough that you don't need tactucuan for that anyway, so making it exclusive doesn't change anything.

I'd argue with that. +1 armor is a fairly big effect on unit rating, which you have been using massively. Especially now that we changed the formula, and on berserkers how start at a low amount.

Assuming your berserkers go from 6 to 7 shields, that's a 12.5% increase in ratings for each unit. Or 112% for 9 units which means a place with 9 of them counts as much as if it was 10.

Plus this effect is much stronger on any berserker not yet having max level, as their base armor is less. On those it's 14.2% extra with war college 16.66% without.

Overall, your primary victory condition (not get attacked) will be ~13% weaker on top of what the defense rating changed bring (probably another 10%?).

Certainly, early rush units are another, and actually, you can probably do that without playing Life buffs, where this helps a ton. For example if you do Blur klackons, you can probably reach similar levels of armor as if you did Life with something without a native bonus. My point the whole time was the rush problem is not exclusive to life, although it is best at it. (Note that our poison solution should have fixed the nonarmoer's guild rush on the capital problem, but that doesn't mean rush buffs are weak. Any tile that isn't protected by a large stack of ghouls and nagas is still up for taking.)

I vote keeping them inclusive. I don't think they work very well together.

This is strong, but main appeal of tactician is +2 to all on heroes. I would name artificer as companion retort of tactician rather than warlord.
