Hotkeys

Some seemingly easy proposals

With selected units:
- W for wait
- R for Patrol (P, A, T are already used... I think that P for plane is a bit useless, you're not changing plane all the time, I'd rather use P for patrol and L for plane actually)
(D is already linked to Done, B to build)

Others:
- Link Esc with closing the X windows - info and spells. The different screens (cities, etc) are already linked.

... I'll add any that come to mind

ESC could also close the chancellor's screen, at the start of the turn.

As well as the casting cancel button.

Info uses the generic menu procedure I believe. So making it take Esc will also allow Esc to cancel your REsurrection, Raise Dead, Animate Dead, etc spells - all of which are wasted if cancelled. (You can already cancel them by clicking outside though but this increase the chance of error)

The Chancellor screen seems to get closed from Enter. We can change that but I don't feel it makes any less sense than Esc - basically the assumption is that pressing the "ok" key closes the report instead of the "cancel" key.

On the spellbook screen (human overland version)
$B0921 is the address for the hotkey assigned to the X that closes the book as far as I can tell. I tried setting it to escape but it had no effect. If anyone knows how hotkeys work, let me know because either I'm misunderstanding it or there is some extra condition. (or 1B isn't the Escape key, but the production screen seems to also use that...)

...either way I haven't been doing much about hotkeys yet because I don't have much knowledge about how they work. Until I figure out how to change this one, there is no point looking for the address of others.

Hey thanks for trying anyway.

Well, most windows close with esc, I'd change it for consistency rather than for sense.

I can't locate the hotkey for "Build road to..." for engineers. Can anybody help me out here?

Game code seems to say B for the Build button which makes perfect sense. Is it not working?
