Steam flagging link to RB as "potentially malicious"

I had wanted to invite visitors to the Steam Wargroove discussion board to RB, but Steam keeps flagging anything linking here as "potentially malicious".  Anyone have any insight / seen anything similar?  RB has had issues with malware in the past, but I haven't noticed anything unusual.

Could be it has something to do with Google Chrome showing it as "Not secure".  Not sure what's up with that, either.

Edit- and now, having clicked on a few different pages, Chrome says the site is secure. Odd, and mildly troubling.

Looks like www.realmsbeyond.net is fine, but realmsbeyond.net (no www) is not. Specifically, it doesn't support https, which the forum pages want to use. Presumably we could configure the no-www version properly to fix that.

As for your link, maybe you can just use the www version and that will fix it?

Edited to prevent the stupid editor from interpreting my links as links that should have "http://" prepended, since that just confuses the meaning.

Interesting.  Visiting www.realmsbeyond.net still shows the site as being not secure, until I randomly click around a few times, at which point it becomes secure again  Iiam

After doing some tinkering, it seems that Steam was flagging the link due to my having put parenthesis around it- not sure why that would make any difference.  Iiam  x2

Ultimately it looks like the two issues aren't related, and the former isn't much of a problem anyway.  Hopefully the good people of the Wargroove Steam forum won't mind that I created and deleted variations of the same thread several times over.

"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

You know they'll be able to read this, right?

On that note, REALMS BEYOND DOT NET DOES NOT CONTAIN MALWARE.  ANYMORE.  I THINK.

So the Secure/NotSecure things has been secretly plaguing me for the last few months. The board url is set to https which *should* fix it, but like you've seen, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I've tried an override in .htaccess but for some reason that made the site load endlessly. It's still on my to-do list as I can find time.

But yes, the malware we experienced a few years ago was rooted out. And a lot of it forced out by file changes when we did the MyBB 1.6 -> 1.8 upgrade.

Found the issue! When MyBB loads those star icons by the usernames of admins/moderators, that star is loaded via http not https. I cannot quickly figure out why, but that's the culprit. I turned off those stars displaying and lo and behold, pages seem to always be loading over https now. lol
