Does anyone know if the clock continues to run when Civ is open but minimized while another window is active?

I typically write most of my report text while actually playing, so if that's the case, then either I'd turn in a terrible result or you won't get much of a report. Or I could compensate by using the pause button when alt-tabbing away from Civ, if that would be considered kosher?

If you have your Civ4 alt-tabbed (minimized), it counts the time that you spend in this position, sadly. I recommend to take quick notes in a paper notepad.
