I have to disagree. He hinted at it several times during the past months for all who read forum posts carefully to come to the right conclusions.

The nice thing is that from my impression, Sirian won't be the person who will be biased much by this when it comes to evaluating and writing about the game. (Or so I hope...)

Agree to all the above, it wasn't exactly a super secret, although not directly stated. :P If Sirian approves it after his in-depth critique of several other games in the past including Civ3, then I know it's going to be a well done game.
