GG Sareln, what a massive turnaround in score in the Late War, and that whole Wargames/SALT/Discard sequence was just deliciously nailbiting.

PS I also had Asia Scoring in hand, FWIW. Just a turn ago I was hoping you'd draw either grain sales or star wars in addition to CIA (which I thought you are holding?) for me to have a chance.

Heh, well played. I've got all the play by play socked away on my dropbox and will upload it as the week goes by hopefullly. The wargames sequence was pretty much the last, best, hope there of the late war for the soviets, since it seemed like nothing was working in central america for me!

I was holding Star Wars, Latin American Death Squads, and UN Intervention at game-end.

Besides Asia Scoring I had Ussuri Skirmishes, OPEC and Cambridge Five. I spent a lot of the turn not sure whether to go for insta-win through scoring Asia early and then launching OPEC and Containment into space, or whether go into final scoring. Eventually settled on the latter, would have probably held OPEC.

I am interested and willing, but don't have the time to commit to this as a single player. Which is of course where the internet becomes fun — nothing stops multiple turnplayers from logging into the relevant account. (In our game with Sareln, I had to first give turnplaying duties over to Gav, and then the game entire, and then take it back from him). And there will be prizes!

Any interest from fellow RBers to run in the tournament as an RB team?
