Imperial

I just don't see the point in picking a guild hall that another member of the alliance has. That's all.

If we must pick a hall, pick one that an existing member of the alliance doesn't have. I'm surprised nobody has put in a word for the Stone Isle, that's pretty damned epic.

It's also one of the two ugliest locations in the game IMO, the other being the Jade Guild Hall.

I didn't visit the Kurzick lands during the preview, but if the Stone Isle is any indication then I'm happy that I didn't. Not that the Jade Sea was all that great either.

I'd say keep our guildhall, for now anyway. It is, at very least, unique among the alliance, and it is nice. I do agree with Havral on avoiding doubling up guildhalls among the alliance. If we want to see one another guild has, we can just jump to their. All services are usable, and I believe you can even run a scrimmage from their hall.

Anyway, think the Imperial is nice, but too much red.. One of the other guilds has it too (HRK? HJ? DoF?).. I rather like Meditation Isle, but TNE has that.

If to Stone Isle is the Kurzick-ish one, I do really like their lands, and would be for a change to that, though I'd rather not have one so very disliked by any of the guild as GG seems to think of that.

I'll have to take an actual tour of all the halls, but thats my opinion so far.

Ahhh, didn't realise we could take tours - haven't quite got to Lion's Arch yet smile I'll get back to you once I've had a look round.

Awww, you don't like the gothic majesty of the Kurzick strongholds? tongue

BTW, for the record, Stone Isle isn't indicative of the Kurzick lands as such. It's more akin to the staging areas. The various explorable areas include Arborstone which is 50/50 gothic interior and dark forest with a watery ravine running through it, many more foresty bits and also a number of areas like the mushroom-covered or rocky interiors of Sorrow's Furnace. Quite often there are also glowing church window-like structures mounted in walls and even giant trees.

Basically a whole lot of Fangorn Forest with some gothic stonework and church windows thrown in. smile

I got to Lion's Arch earlier (with some irritating people, which was annoying after the last time being so much fun - still no worse than Diablo, though smile) and had a look around, and I like the Wizards' Isle best, but the Imperial one is also groovy.

Imperial is sexy. I managed to convince AB3 to swap to Imperial. It's a lot of fun for gvg, but it makes for some interesting tactics when playing against rangers.
