Honestly, I don't know how I'm supposed to counter a Spear flood yet (other than more Spears I guess). I felt the Archers did okay on the top front (which I had won by the end, though we had lost the other two). I didn't even think of a Ballista--I didn't realize they have a longer range than Trebs and they seem so awful otherwise.
