Oooops, don't know how I missed those clams! You're right then, 1S is viable, and could be a decent production city. I'll think about it, Settler will get there in 2 turns

Tiles near Nicaea are being workshopped right now. Need... more... Workers... banghead

Representation/Universal Suffrage decision can be made later, but note that we have very few specialists, very few cities which can get them, and no plans to get other civics which work well with Representation (Caste System, Mercantilism). I suppose if we have a shot at SoL, we can go Representation; if not, US will probably be better

Mackoti asked for all our gold

I declined

Here's NS7's stack on the main continent

I suspect at least the same amount of units is inside Galleons. Yeah. We're not killing this any time soon. An impressive canal across the whole continent, too

More impressive stacks in NS7's land

They also razed Rhodes, Mackoti's city next to their border

I'm thinking about another city in former Sian's land

Idolmaster has too much food, needs to share. On the other hand, it could be worth it leaving things as they are and making Idolmaster the Globe Theatre city. The problem is, it's right on the other side of the world from NS7's border; should we go to war with them, we need a drafting city closer to the battlefield. Something to think about

The ocean to our west ends with an ice barrier

Looks like the map is turned 90 degrees from the usual orientation, with icy land in the east/west. Don't think there is any land worth settling over there in the ocean

The Rival Worst GNP belongs to NS7. Looks like they abandoned the research completely. I feel our chances in this game will be determined by how long Mackoti will be able to defend against NS7, and whether we will be able to have a large enough navy and a sufficient number of Rifles by the time NS7 come for us. We may also want to attack Luddicator once we hit Rifles, otherwise NS7 will roll over them, getting more than twice our land

Ultimately, if we get to Cavalries and Destroyers, and NS7's research doesn't pick up speed, we win. NS7's land stacks are Cannon-heavy, Cavalries are good against this, and their Frigate stacks will melt against Destroyers

Oh, and St. Patrick was born in Constantinople at EOT. Now to produce another GP in Laudica - fortunately it doesn't have great prophet points in the pool

No, I don't think it'll come down to whoever gets the most land at the end. Hence we need to be working alongside Luddicator. I think the best way forward is to find a good time when NS7 are distracted and vulnerable, and deal a crippling blow. The best way for that is Galleons, some way to position them in a way to deal some catastrophic damage the day we pull the trigger. I think that's what NS7 has been doing all this time to us, via those conveniently placed galleons just outside our waters.

I'm not talking about attacking now smile if we attack, it should be with Rifles and Cannons

As for NS7, the main thing is to keep track of their stacks. If we can somehow hide a number of full Galleons around the map and attack their vulnerable coastal cities, we can deal them a big blow. Their cities except on the border with us and the one with the main stack are defended by a single unit. But their fleet is so huge, it would be difficult to hide anything

A barb city in the far west

Producing another great person will take 4 turns. Which means we have to research Philosophy and Nationalism before Steel. Nationalism is an expensive tech, and we need to get it by the end of the GA, so in 10 turns

Why I agreed to a draw. If NS7 are no longer having fun in this game, there are two possibilities

* Everyone dogpiles us, then agree to a draw without us. We cannot defend such an attack yet
* NS7 put up half-hearted defence against our attack. Maybe we win, but the victory is hollow

A draw is better than what I expected 50 turns ago, and if we call the game now, I feel it's the most fair result
