Who Gets your Goat?

Monty has been a direct neighbor in the my last 2 games, and he has always attacked, early and often. In my current game, I learned my lesson and went on a counter-offensive and took 2 of his cities, including the capitol. But I'm sure I'll need to finish him off soon.

In my first complete game, though, I had a surprise at the end. I was trying to play for a time victory, just to get a feel for the game mechanics. With 40 turns to go, I was in the lead (slim, about 200 points) over Isabella, when Ceasar attacks. I had been at war with him a couple of times through the game, and had taken one of his cities. I was using the Civ3 style of defense: just a handful of units, when he hits me hard with tanks and bombers. Took back the city, and dropped me into 2nd place. Well, then!

Cheers,
Michael

Mansa Musa is highly annoying, although hes never been a hated enemy by then end of games, and often winds up one of my best friends.

He's been in ALL SEVEN of my games! He ALLWAYS starts out hating me, because I'm never in his religion. In the games where I haven't founded a religion, he's on the other side of the world so I never wind up in his!

He's allways hated by several AI, and have seen him be EVERYONES worst enemy MULTIPLE times.

The real reason I fear, rather than hate, the guy though, is that hes been the primary competition in SIX of the seven games eek. The only game he wasn't in the mix was my emperor win, where Lizzy and Cyrus both nearly outlaunched me.

As an aside, I only fought one war in that game (felt I NEEDED those 2 cities to win, especially as one was the christian holy city). Speaker will be happy to know that Cathy ended the game with a score of zero smile
