Not necessarily. A consul can be a turn player, and a turn player doesn't have to be a consul.

I'm a bit passively watching here for the moment. I've been a bit overemployed the last few weeks and my forum time has taken a dive, but I'm unemployed as of Monday so I'll have more time to be active for a few weeks coming up. That said, not sure if I'm the right candidate to help run the team right at the outset. I'd suggest we try to always have at least 1/3 of the consul seats at a held by a vet if possible to help steer decicion making from our leadership. (Obviously I don't count myself in the vets group).

So, who wants to be up for election for the first term, of presently undefined length?
