ARAM Tier List

Atlas Wrote:Update the list please! Or rather just make a new post. i would happy to help craft one.

Well I can move some champs around but I haven't logged into my LOL client for over a month so my rankings and judgement are even more sketchy than normal. I think its only Lucian and Yasuo who have been released since my last update but I could be wrong.

edit - Made some changes!

Jayce down to Tier 2
Caitlyn up to Tier 1
Ziggs up to Tier 1
Viktor down to Tier 3
Heimerdinger up to Tier 2
Lucian entered at Tier 3, I figured he would be similar to Graves but probably better.
Master Yi down to Tier 4
Ryze up to Tier 2
Syndra up to Tier 2
Olaf up to Tier 3
Yasuo entered at Tier 4, I know he's being used in competitive play but his kit doesn't look good for ARAM.
Kayle up to Tier 2, whoever yelled at me for originally putting her at Tier 4 was correct, I just saw her played badly a lot!
Malphite down to Tier 3

More promotions than demotions here, I thought about putting Rumble down to 3 but his teamfight is just so goddamn good.

I've been playing a ton of ARAM lately. It's my preferred game mainly because people don't get as bent out of shape and the strategy is far simpler. I have some thoughts on this list:

First, I don't see Ezreal as tier 1. Maybe it's the elo I play at, but he just feeds most games. Not enough early damage. I actually think Ashe is superior. Her frost arrow is obnoxious early and her ult initiates well. Even the hawk shot is good for brush checks.

I would move Yorick up to tier 2. Great sustain, lane bully, can be built tanky and still do damage.

Shen is missing from your list. He is a re-roll for me.

I think almost all AP casters are tier 2 except Annie, who is weak. Veigar's stun is obnoxious. Malzahar does well. But of the tier 3, Cass really needs to be moved up. Her spells all do big damage and hit multiple players. Good wave clear. And her ult can single handedly end team fights. She also can be built with more sustain than some other casters and still shred people.

I have only used Rumble twice but he seems correctly placed to me.

Lulu is the most underrated champ on the list. I don't even own her and I have done well everytime I draw her. Great utility and solid poke with range on Q.

Taric is probably tier 1 at my elo. His buffs hit everyone on the team, the stun is obnoxious, and he still does OK damage in a team fight when built tanky.

Pre-recent re-work, I would've said Nid was the best champ. Now it may be Lux. She's annoying as hell in ARAM. I'm going to buy her just for this mode.

No clue on Lucian or Jinx. Braum seems potentially useful. Never played any of them.

Well the list doesn't get updated until someone pokes me hard enough, so its always going to be somewhat dated, especially considering the last revision was before Lulu became popular, Nidalee got changed etc etc.

There's plenty of room for variance in how people assess a champions ARAM strength. I do bias some ratings against some AP's and ADC's just because they are among the weakest champions in that specific role and will on average be outmatched by a higher tier champ filling the same position. Your remark is Ezrael vs Ashe is reasonable but I still maintain that Ezrael provides better damage, better poke with the addition of being flexible enough to also go AP. Also Ashe's arrow loses a lot of initiating power when a tank is always at the front preventing a stun on a choice target.

Agree with Yorick being moved up, maybe it was more to do with the low damage team I was on but he was virtually unkillable last time I played vs him.

Added Shen at Tier 4
Moved Teemo + Malzahar up to Tier 2.
Nidalee demoted to Tier 2, need to see her more though.
Yasuo upped to 3.
Braum tentatively placed at 2
