GE's Palace theme again (spoilers)

Turn 142 & Adrien did decide to assault Sam Allardyce.

Oh dear! It did not go well for him!!! He has a total of 10 units outside, a couple in near-critical condition; and I have 12 units defending (whipped an extra Longbow) with a couple on about half health. He has no Catapults left; I still count 2 in my total. I lost both my Great General boosted units, but hey-ho.

Turn 148 & I'm still hanging on!

Here's the situation at Sam Allardyce (Defenses at 78%):

Defenders: 10 x Longbows, 4 x Pikemen & 2 x Catapults

Attacking stack 1: 7 x Cataphracts & 2 Grenadiers
Attacking stack 2: 1 x Grenadier & 3 x Cannon

(Adrien's got nothing I can see in range to join in within 2 turns)

I'm 4 turns away from Nationhood & the Draft, including the Revolution; here's hoping I hold on long enough.

Turn 150 & I think the end is near.

Adrien's last assault on Sam Allardyce meant heavy casualties for me, defenders are now: 3 x Longbows (4 @ EOT), 1 x Pike & 2 x Catapults

Attacking stack 1: still 7 x Cataphracts & 2 Grenadiers - although only 1 Cataphract is unscathed.
Attacking stack 2: 1 x Grenadier & 1 x Cannon - Adrien lost only 2 Cannons!

I got another Great General. I'll probably regret not building a Military Academy, chose to add it to the remaining Pike, but I doubt I'll see Nationalism (Draft) come in.

Turn 151 & I doubt I'll be doing another update.

Adrien assaulted Sam Allardyce again and left just 2 Catapults defending; I've since whipped a lone Longbow to join them.

But he didn't get it all his own way; the Longbow built last turn killed a Cataphract, as did one of the Catapults. His stacks are now:

Attacking stack 1: 5 x Cataphracts & 2 Grenadiers - all injured to some extent.
Attacking stack 2: 1 x Grenadier & 4 x Cannon - he added 3 Cannon to the stack - this'll be the stack to finish me off.

Nationalism completed @ EOT, but I fear I won't be able to Revolt to Nationhood.
