I think we're mostly waiting on a few elements of the mod to come together, and commodore to say the map is ready. And like two more sign ups?
Sitting on the list of rolled combos, awaiting the last two slots. Recruit your friends and family!
Also, I really would like to just do the public roll and permit free trades of the form "I would like to trade my Pacal of India, anyone interested?" "Sure, have my Tokugawa of Zulu" "Cool traded". Map is a monumental effort, so no worries if such trades take a while.

If we're still talking about stupid ideas then we should play and report the game using pseudonyms. Teams share a single login to the forum to report with and thread titles can simply be names "Team 1", "Team 2" etc, and use Zaks greasemonkey script to highlight which thread is yours so no accidental misclicks into other teams threads.
That we we could even keep the teams composition hidden from the lurkers for extra entertainment. (only reason this would work is that 33 players is enough to hide some of the geographical data from each other. And if anyone thinks an "accidental" login to the PB with your name is going to give things away, you should just forget that people can easily log in with fake names to hide). |
