Is using Pseudonyms on the forum really necessary? You could just use the pseudonyms for the PB, unless keeping the lurkers in the dark is that much more special. Not that they wouldn't recognize writing/play styles after a short bit.

I expect Krill/Novice to rage quit when we don't adopt the pseudonym plan, and two terse foreign newcomers will have to be found to take their spot.

Eh, it's a crazy suggestion for a reason: it'll never be done.
That said, if I as a player don't know who the other players are, I damned well don't want the lurkers to know either.

@Krill - I will play as Krill and you play as Ruff. That should confuse everyone.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Just start with no direction, an early religion and then lose any purpose by about T45 and you'll do fine.

Okay, I like the idea of trading, but as Plako says, we shouldn't change too much of the settings, so, here's what I'm going to do: I'm going to post the complete rolled list of players-to-combos. If you want to reroll, PM me privately in the next 48 hours, and I'll put in the unused leaders with the combos requesting rerollment and the dice will fly again, and I'll amend the list. Rerolling is less likely to produce good results than in PB13; all civilizations and most leaders are in the game already.
