I have an idea for diplo I'd be interested in trying out, if anyone wants to bite.
Any deal made in the game always has a 20t cancellation cooldown option. If you sign a NAP or another agreement for a longer period of time than 20t, that simply means it's a 20t agreement which renews itself unless specified otherwise.

Is this game ready for a subforum? Commodore PMed me yesterday, but it looked like you were still collecting players so I left it here for the moment.
And you want a split vets/greens setup, right?

I think you should create a new subforum but leave this thread here for now.

have no problem with interesting ideas about diplo, but enforcing a specific kind of NAP aren't what counts as interesting in my book. Your more than welcome to request that all your NAPs is as such, but forcing it down others throat ...
Intersting ideas of diplo should expand the ability to act (in one way or another, either by promoting safety or chaotic play, giving the chance for players to gambit against type), not force everyone down into one box of play

Okay, updated the first post with the greens info thus far. Turn order will be different for you guys depending on who lives where.
Vets, I rolled a die, got a 5, then rolled again, got a 4, so looks like it's Gasparliem > Lewwyn > Mackoti > No7

Hmmm, I thought I had FDR? I'm sorry, but Mao of Babylon just seems... icky...
Anyway, since you guys seem to be wanting diplo, I'll bow out and let another lucky guy take Mao for a spin.

I've never played a PBEM before (or a MP game with anyone than friends via VPN/LAN for that matter), but I'd like to give it a try. If I get rolled I can blame it on the protective trait, right? Right!
I've found that playing 10 turns in a set is time consuming in the BTS 5 SG I'm playing in but I think 1 turn a day would be a lot more manageable. You guys OK with me joining?

hahaha, wait until it gets to the point where you're spending 2 hours on just 1 turn...
