some thoughts about tech
1) Myki's total culture is 150 more then mine
2) that leads to the fact that I have more total beakers
3) both sailing and archery have more strategic defense meaning at this moment
4) being tech and prod leader vs Myki I don't need defence + I would have know about possible military conflict long before due to scouting
5) both writing and IW seems intresting
6) now I have 2 workers, but need at least 5-6 for 3 cities, so each city would have to produce at least 1 worker
7) granary and worker leads to two 4-2-4 cycles
8) all 3 cities have commercial potential, so libraries would be useful
9) it seems that best way of producing libraries is 6-3 or 4-2 whipping
This leads to the fact, that IW>writing, 'cause I couldn't recive benefits from writing atm, still I'm not sure about sailing. Lighthouses are good enough, but it seems, that best way is IW->sailing->writing, then probably metal casting and raiding Myki

What is the benefit of IW?
I usually think the benefit of writing is maths. Libraries can wait a while.

Good question:
benefits of IW: jungle cutting -> +2 green hills, +gems in a more far perspective (2nd ring of next city); revealing iron location -> possible next citoes correction, this is even more important, due to immediate effect
benefits of writing: open borders - far perspective; libraries - little effect before cottage growth and city population 6+ (finishing whipping); Math -> +50% wood chopping (but I have only 4 forests left -> important for new cities)
benefits of sailing: lighthouses, galleys (more far perspective).
Hard choice. Well, if I assume that immortals + archers (archery needs only 4 turns) are good enough for defense, then I could postpone IW, and whip LH, and then workers at coastal cities... Or is it better to wait w/ lighthouses..don't know for sure..
There's always agressive option: IW for metal, sailing for galleys and pillaging Myki's territory.

Btw, new wheat city would have up to 7 forests, that's 210h w/ math: good for wonders, but I don't think hanging gardens would to useful, I'm not in need of health or I am mistaken

220h = 2 workers and a settler. (Is it normal speed?)

Yep, but as I'm Imp it's better to build settlers through slaving

Okay, 2 settlers and 2 workers, ideal! Not sure what the difference between slaving and chopping settlers is with IMP, the important thing is just not to use food isn't it?

Btw, what's your opinion, is it better to produce at least 3 workers and only then a settler for 4th city, or try to expand quicker taking into view ability to chop workers later

Lots of people like two workers per city, I tend to play a sandbox and see if it feels like I don't have enough workers. But with all that jungle I think you need to expand to elsewhere quickly. And you can't really spend all that many worker turns until IW so I'd maybe have five or six workers for four cities, and plan to get a lot more when IW comes in.
I'd also plan to plant your fourth or fifth city over the water - IC trade routes are great. Nearly as good as Currency. And the land over there could be much better...
