I sure hope its not to hard to find the scum in all those posts that were posted.

I did indeed. And, iirc, I was town in that game. However, it is the case that I'm more likely to roleplay as scum. Obviously it would be a dead giveaway if I only roleplayed as scum - and downright suicidal if I always roleplayed as scum - but it's definitely a point in my favour that I'm not roleplaying here.
Found the scum. It was easy.

To elaborate, when someone says: "I'm not scum because I'm doing this, if I were scum I'd do this." It is pretty scummy.
To be fair, I'm pretty sure I read Winston as scum most of the time. I can't be sure but its possible I pushed to lynch him in the previous games too. I'm willing to take that into account as this day progresses.

I agree. Especially this early in the game (and this early in the round too). There should be better defenses possible, such as doing your own scumhunting. I could see a legit townie falling back on the "I'm not scum because I'm doing this, if I were scum I'd do this." reasoning out of desperation if they have tried everything else and they are about to get lynched. But it seemed a bit premature for Winston to come out with that kind of reasoning.

@Commodore: The signatures are a nice touch, but quite big and make the page a lot longer (each signature is ~1/3 of the page on my laptop). This is especially annoying outside of this thread, and I assume so for non-players. Is there a way we could not do it?

Well technically saying that when he's on the block would be more suspicious than opening with it I think.

While I agree there is a fair bit of legitimacy to the arguments that Winston is scummy, I think its also important that we don't allow ourselves to be focused on him to the exclusion of all others, which we kind of seem to be doing. Right now all were doing is muddying the train if that's what it ends up being later. For myself, I'd like to explore Qgqqqqq a bit. Half of his posts to date are meta posts about Bang and how this might or might not have similar aspects, and the other half are raking his spurs across Mr. Hughes. Short of digging through past games, which is a bit beyond my capacity right now, I don't know for sure what Qg's predilections are for pursing meta stuff are. In this game however, it seems meta analysis doesn't present much in the way of useful information. It does pad the post count though.

I second this. I've got a good sized monitor, and this still takes makes my posts per page very limited.

Oops I just misclicked on the lurker thread and realized too late that Bob wasn't in this game. I won't post what I intended to post until I hear from Commodore.
