I can try to host in the meantime, I've set up an RB Mod 2.0.6.4 test pitboss game here:

If some of you guys can try to connect and post back here letting me know you're able to connect maybe we can play on for a few days. If it doesn't work...nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'm going to be away from home for several hours so if it looks like it will work then later today I can try to get the save hosted.

That address has worked fine for me previously, haven't checked today but it should be just fine.

Ha, no idea what happened there. I definitely launched the shortcut to spawn the pitboss instance on 2057. Whatever 2056 it is.

Just got to the beach so I'll be away a while.

I should be able to get the games up tonight or tomorrow by using only the system disk. The SSD is only 60GB though, so it's definitely not a long term solution for anything except the OS itself. I should get the new HD next week, as I wrote earlier, so I will shuffle the files around then to their proper locations.

Just curious, how much disk space does a PB game like this one consume? (Also wondering if a game is noticeably faster running off an SSD, though it seems unlikely that disk access would ever be the bottleneck instead of the network.)

On a big map late in the game the saves can be a few MB in size, but unless you have the server configured to keep a whole lot of the old saves that need not be a big problem. Loading off a SSD helps but network is more of a concern for sure.
