I think it's the general European 'sync our vacations to August' thing.

I'd say builders' holiday only that's always July.

Yeah, I think in Central Europe August is the most common "vacation month"

Stop me if I'm out of line and just being whiny and entitled, since I don't have the skill level to be much of a part of this game:
I find it extremely sad that the Turn Report thread has frozen. Hundreds of people may read this game later, and they're not going to go back through a Twitch TV video for a couple of turns in the middle of the game. For posterity there should be at least a couple of paragraphs per turn. Even if it's just "We're doing a ton of diplo and getting stonewalled. War at T170 or 175 is inevitable. We've completely shifted to whipping and drafting units." and show a couple of relevant screenshots. Sullla did a super-human job at this and obviously is nearly impossible to follow.
It would be an extreme shame if these pre-war turns, which are extremely crucial, disappear into a black hole for the browsing experience.

Hey now, this thread is for ranting against CFC only.
Anyway, the reason why there haven't been any posts in the Turn Tracking Thread is that I haven't been able to write any coherent turn reports. I've been hoping someone else would be able to do that. But if that's not the case I can write some summaries.

I mean, if someone would volunteer to write said reports consistently, that would be wonderful, but we have a lack of volunteers right now.

The current posts in the discussion thread are fine for reports. They might not be up to Sullla standard, nor present the various options being considered ... but they certainly capture the flavour of what is gong on.
The other option is that someone I write a super high level turn report and then references individual posts from our discussion thread. Looks like we need something for T166 and T167 - is that right?
Candidate posts are:

Those will do for general game discussion. What about our diplo position - do we have suitable summary posts that I can reference for that?
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Hey Sullla, it's now your turn to nitpick against Noble, Sunrise etc... What ever you do, please bring back your opinions...
