Can't we see all the Trolls cities on the map, or at least most of them? "Born in a far away land" means "you haven't found this city yet", right? Wouldn't that make it more likely to be TEAM? (since they have the most obscured cities?)
I know there's a formula that can deduce the exact amount of hammers in each city based on the sabotage production, but for now we can assume BM has the Kremlin.
Yeah, whip Urami and Voluge, not the other two--things look good on SFL
Yikes on the power spike--granted, we'll probably have a similar power spike when we enter the golden age, but still :/
Are Trolls researching anything, or are they saving? (check their GPT)

Why not 2-pop whip Zatoica? It's got lots of food to grow those two back quick.

My thought with that is that we shouldn't be whipping away good tiles on the verge of a golden age, but you may be right--opinions Old Harry?

It'll have two workshops to work, meaning those 2 POP can make 60 food hammers over the next ten turns. Does shifting those 60 hammers to now help us? Yeah, probably. Actually we won't get the organised religion bonus from next turn. Do we really want to go pacifist?

Hey guys we're up - I'm about to play most of the turn but I was wondering about revolting to Pacifism - we have two cities set up for creating great people, ITS and Arquebus (which isn't really too hot yet) ITS will create a great person near the end of this golden age whether we adopt Pacifism or not, Arquebus will take about 30 turns to create a great person. As with everything else I think we need to focus on not dying in 9 turns time, so I was wondering what the best short-term Great Person would be.
A Great Scientist can only bulb Electricity, a great merchant could get us banking or economics, but a great artist could let us bomb Epee and make that front much harder for Trolls to take...
I can't see anything in the settings about artist bombs - is it just assumed that they are cheesy or are we okay?

Why would artist bombs be cheesy?

How many great people will Pacifism produce, and what would we do with them? How many buildings will we build, and how many hammers will we get from Organized Religion? How much more will Pacifism cost than Organized Religion, especially considering the upcoming troop buildup?
Don't forget, we can whip, then switch to Pacifism, right?

I've occasionally seen them banned, but I guess if there's nothing in the rules here that won't be an issue. Welcome in by the way, are you just here for the carnage or have you been watching all along?

We'll only produce a great person from ITS - in five turns rather than eight, but it would get other potential GP farms primed for another golden age in about twenty five turns rather than thirty five (very rough estimate).
Organised Religion is 50 gpt right now, and the only place we're building buildings is very new cities on SFL. Pacifism is 0 gpt but will get very expensive with unit supply costs (I assume it'll be about 40 already), so what about free religion? It costs about 30 gpt, gives us +10% research and an extra happy face in all our cities... The drawbacks are that we can't build missionaries any more (I don't think we want to) and we lose our state religion (which might mean our view of budhist Troll cities goes, but we've got an airship now!) Bear in mind we'll switch into Theocracy at the end of the golden age if we can research it at some point, so this is very temporary.

I'm doing the whips now.

Free Religion sounds like a pretty good short-term solution. Doesn't seem like we really need the benefits of OR or Pacifism too much right now, so the extra happy and research are probably worth it.
I don't see any problem with an Artist bomb

I just chatted with Old Harry--we're revolting to Caste/SP/Free Religion until the end of the golden age, then we can start whipping again
Hooray for Airships!
