She's amazingly tolerant...the fact that we hit 15 years of marriage in May should tell you that .

...so every time you have to run a simulation, you ought to buy her flowers? Might even be an idea to buy her a day or two at a beauty retreat if you have to be up at 4am to play a war turn.

I popped a map Fairly happy with that result. And it's looking like I might be on a peninsula, I need to send the warrior NE and another warrior NW to scout that out to make sure.
It also looks like I'm in the far north. You can see tundra just under the FoW.
Someone that started with Fishing is working a 4 food tile; they got clams or crabs, not fish. That should help power them along to a fairly quick worker. Or someone settled a 3 food tile, and they want to grow asap to slave out a worker. Either way, this is why I don't do C&D.

What a desolate wasteland you have there, PB7 isn't even that arid and foodless.

I've seen worse, and with the amount of hammers I have at my capital and the 2 food res (and a plains cow!) I should do OK short term. I gotta admit I hope the river area is better though.

...Hmmm.
OK, I decided to move the warrior 9 this turn for the specific reason that if I use this warrior (anyone got a name for him?) to scout SW (1) then I'm going to have to bring him back through explored lands to scout the river region, or use the second warrior to scout the river. As it stands, I currently want to use the second warrior to scout the NW and make sure I'm on a peninsula, so I can't use him to do both that and scout the river. So I have to use the current warrior to scout that area.
I'm guessing someone without a plains hill start but starting with Mining has gone BW first to slave out the worker, and build additional warriors to scout with. Not really a bad idea if you don't have that plains hill. It gets the worker out around the same time (maybe a turn behind, depends on tiles in the capital BFC).
