If you've got cash to burn these look freaking awesome:

Fuck no, I prefer a much more minimalist style. I hate LED backlights as well...but I suppose that problem wouldn't exist with those things.

Hrmph. If I had the cash in this spring's computer budget I'd get one. But I'm looking at around a C$1000 +/-200 budget so $500+ on the keyboard isn't going to happen. wink

I also want a rotary dial cell phone.

Thoth, do you own a car or have you not upgraded from a pony yet?

lol It's actually funny you should mention that.

I let my driver's licence expire in 1990 and I've never owned a car that didn't have "Hot Wheels" stamped on the underside. smug

Any reason for that? I'd go search through Poly to find out but my New Years Resolution to not set foot there hasn't been broken yet...though TBH, if I could survive with just public transport, I'd be fairly happy.

Partly laziness, partly to avoid having to drive for a company I worked at for 10 years (the burnout rate for our driver was about every 1 1/2 to 2 years) and partly because I spent a lot of those years living in downtown Ottawa and could either walk or take public transit to where I needed to get to.

Would it help your new year's resolution to know that the "troll Serb about the Ukraine" thread is over 118 pages at this point? lol

I'd be envious, but you live in Ottawa... wink j/k, I need to visit eastern Canada.

No, that's not really doing it. Call me when Ben is permabanned.

Haven't lived in Ottawa for a few years now. This past winter has reminded me of part of what I don't miss about Ottawa.

'Poly has upgraded it's ignore feature. Now quoted text is blocked as well. It's awesome. :b:
