Will it fully bulb the tech?

That is a question for the mechanics whizzes ... Cost is 960 beakers and I think a non-GScientist build is 1000 beakers? GScientist is 1500?

Did a quick test in the sandbox and confirmed that GProphet will bulb Civil Service in 1-turn. I came 5 or so beakers short on Monotheism so I have almost a full turn of overflow into Theology. Theology in 4 turns and I'll then bulb Civil Service immediately and revolt to Bureaucracy. Capital is back in Grow Grow Grow mode after slowing down and working hammer tiles while constructing the Great Library. Truth completed Parthenon end of the turn that I just completed.

Here's some smoke smoke for you ... I mistakenly built Temple of Artemis instead of Parthenon at Truth. Just a simple mis click when selecting the city build, but I did not notice until two turns after it was completed and I wasn't seeing the +50% GPP on my GLibrary scientists smoke so now I am owner of the most useless wonder of the world lol

Civil Service will be bulbed next turn. I think that I'm going to set my next tech target Feudalism, with the intention of getting 3-move galleys to attack either Retep or Bob (whoever looks softests) ... Retep would be easier to integrate. I think Retep will be the unlucky target. ETA on Feudalism is approximately 10 turns. I will build 2-promo Maces until then with Theocracy ... The key here is surprise w/ 3-movers out of fog.

By the way, I am planning all-out full war. Maces forking Retep off galleys (man, I really wish I was Viking here!). But I'm going to use my Charismatic + Hammam four (4!) extra happy to support mass whippings. After that I'm going to swap to Caste and focus on WS while the whip unhappy wears off. I probably won't be doing amphibious assaults unless I really catch him with his pants down. I plan on keeping everything that I take.

Back up and running after nearly a month off, with HAK now filling in for the oddly-disappearing Jowy. We were playing about 1 turn/day maybe 6 turns/week. Then a couple days off and Jowy quits? ...

I wonder if this has anything to do with it? Cataphracts out by REM, and looking at the Food & Power graphs it appears that REM has aggressively built up for war with someone (I am now 4th in food, so my guess is that REM just had a second round of aggressive whipping). Jowy-now-HAK has highest power still I think. Fortunately I think there is enough distance between REM and I because he and Jowy are the farthest opponents from me. But someone is going to be feeling Cataphracts soon. I'm hoping it is either Retep or Bob so that I can clean up from the rear.

Opened the save to see this. HAK wanting a loan and throwing in free horses. I just finished Theology and will bulb Civil Service so I'll give the loan. I'll have my own horses next turn anyway so that is not really relevant.

Bulbed Civil Service. Need to wait one more turn before revolting because I swapped into Organized Religion 4 turns ago. I'll swap into Bureaucracy next turn.

I'm still upset that I have the useless Temple of Artemis rather than the synergizes-well-with-Great-Library Parthenon duh That is going to cost me frown

HAK is confirmed as the receiving end of the REM hammer via the foreign advisor alright

Over the long break I had time to reconsider, and decided that I want to continue in peace. I am 1st in GNP. I have Confucianism spread to all but my 1 city, I have started AP, and will have completed the Temples by the time that is complete. About the same time I'll have University of Sankore in the Capital (I'm settling for Stone next turn and will have Paper soon), and the Capital is popping out a GPersion with 80% GScientist for Academy in capital.

I have no military to speak of though ...

Ok, time for a more complete update ...

Graphs & Demographics

Overview

I think that I beat Bob to Stone by 1-turn! I'll see next turn, but I don't think that his settler can reach a valid location and settle this turn. I will settle on Stone next turn, upgrade the warrior inside the city to an Axe, and whip a Spear out of Anticipation just to be safe.

National Epic completed in Genesis on the turn roll. This is already a great city, and the cottages will continue to mature! I'm going to hopefully have an Academy in 3 turns, and I'm saving up gold until then. Building Forge now, followed probably by University on Sankore. Apostolic Palace is getting built in Truth.

Tentative tech path. After I turn on tech I'll have approximately 1050 gold in the bank. Current full deficit is 50gpt, or 21 turns of full-bore research!!! Between known-tech bonus for Music + Philosophy, Drama is free tech. I'm planning to get the Great Artist and fire a Golden Age. Hit Paper for UoS about the time I finish the Forge (I'll also have time to get workers down to chop those forests). After that Divine Right since I want Spiral Minaret. If Taoism has been founded I'll go strait to Nationalism, if not I'll pick up Philosophy for the pre-req bonus. I'm going to have everything set up to 1-turn Taj Mahal at Waltz.
