I'm pretty sure Thoth would go all out trying to attack Team 3 and help Team 2 if he knew what was going on here.

If I read lewwyn's latest post he does seem to understand that team 3 will get an extra attack in. He thinks he can shave off a turn and team 3 will get two turns attack. jive I think he can defend with 200+ units for two turns. Team 3 can now block tiles though so its not over.

As to whether or not Team 1 should be corrected, I have no idea. Too much gray area and doubt for me to feel comfortable arguing for either side.

But what's up with all the posts calling Sullla arrogant? I mean, give the guy a break. It's true that he's a good player and knows it, so his writing can come off as smug sometimes as a result. But his writing never strikes me as outright arrogant. IMO about the worst that can be said about him is that he comes off as condescending when he talks about Team 2, which is completely understandable based on how Sullla thinks cultural victories work.

Of course we as lurkers are going to see many of his moves as clueless. But it's never so easy to see these things as a player. Besides, if it weren't for Dave's insanely high awareness, Team 3 probably wouldn't know have of what it does right now either.

I wonder how much "Kathlete Defense" Team1 needs to see before they split their stack and start taking cities 2 at a time.

...or alternatively, before they wonder exactly why it is that Team3 is giving away cities.

If T3 move out this turn, they attack on T190, with 106 units. Lewwyn, if his numbers are right, and he can compensate for the loss of tiles due to the encroaching army, should have T2 with 3 legendary cities after he ends turn on T191.

Dave thinks they will have 106 attacking units. T2 just need 213 units in Beijing to be 100% sure of holding the city.

This is close...

213 is only necessary if none of the attackers die. If T2 has 200 defenders then T3 can't afford to lose more than 7 attackers the first round. Will 39 cannons + killing the first 90 defenders be sufficient to give the pikes, lbows, and the horse archer decent odds?
