Beijing still gets some commerce from trade routes & palace, so 100% slider does help a little bit.

Yup, he should be able to trade 2-1 there at least. Stack of workers and some g2 muskets. 125% total defense. 150 if he'd had time to fortify them.
Forcing Davy to go through is worth it, if you can come out ahead in units lost. Davy can't go around, he loses a turn, and even if he thinks he can afford that turn, you can just do the same thing again (at 100% - losing either the river or the hill) on the flood plains N and the other hill W. You'd have to leave more stacks, but the ones he didn't hit could just run back to Bejing.

Small stacks, otherwise T3 will burn cannons, and in which case you won't be getting a 2-1 ratio on units that can kill.

Can CKN's get barrage promotions? IF so, what happens when you promote them to rifles? To rifles do collateral or does it become a wasted promo?

Still only 105/106 units that "can kill"
But aye, its odd that he underestimates Davy's number of Machine guns.
Too bad (according to predictions) that sparks won't be flying until next week though

Maybe turn pace will speed up a bit so that we can see something at least around Sunday?

Apparently Team3 doesn't realize that the collateral damage limit gets reduced when fighting stronger units. That's understandable, since the game interface doesn't give you any clue about that. But if CKN could actually reduce everything to 40HP they'd be insanely powerful... CKN + muskets could beat tanks.

Prediction:
When reporting T191, Sullla is going to say that it's a critical time for his team, and it's going to be about something minor. Like finishing Industrialism. Or blowing up a small stack of Thoth's. Or blockading Dave.
Then Sullla is going to lose.

From a balace viewpoint the reason blockades are overpowered/unfun as people have said before is 7x7 is far too much. If it where to be reduced to say 3x3 it would force you to split the stack to do lots of damage and make it far easier to defend.
I don't think Spullla is going to tip their hat. It just does not make logical sense for it to happen. If team 2 wins, even though its awsome, it's base on extreme luck of team 1 not understanding a game-rule issue and team 3 being off about team 2's culture-win date. This is far more painful and chessy than spullla losing to LP in PB4. If losing ever does not "count" this game is it -- ignoring cheating by someone else.
My only real question is that if team 3 somehow pulls it out-- How would team 3 do against team 1? Luddite for example thinks that they would even have an edge. I think team 1 would just cruise on to victory as team 3 has wasted so much productioon and has been blockaded.
