I'm central US, and my playtime is flexible--I'll play around 12:00-10:00 PM CST (18:00-4:00 GMT), wherever I'm needed
As someone who's never played a PBEM game before, is there anything else I need to do at this point?

no, we need to know the turn order, pick a random starter, get a tracker set up and then away we go. so, two more emails and hours, some figuring, then some more setup work.
oh - you have to figure out your incredibly clever city naming scheme. Spam your thread (a good way to do that is to analyze your opponents, trying to figure out what we are going to do based on leader/civ choices) is always good.

I'm a pretty flexible GMT player. Only times I can definitely not do regularly are from 1am - 8am GMT. Otherwise I can play pretty regularly. Best time if it needs nailing down is 2-8pm GMT

I can sometimes click the turn before going to work (depends on many things but between 7AM and 9AM GMT), but more reliably I'm available 7PM to 11PM GMT.

sounds like TT->B4ndit->eastway->AT->CH (or perhaps TT->B4ndit->AT->Eastway->CH) as an order, with someone picking a random person to start. Did I read that correctly?

AT/eastway: need to know which of you should play before the other. Once that's done I'll choose a random starting player and edit your picks into the map.
