I think this might be an incentive to play my turns ... so I don't get hung, drawn or / and quartered by Gaspar.

I am assuming that things tighten up a bit when it comes to war and Gaspar.

Yeah, some lucky ones might indeed attack a competent enemy and then find out that they have to stomp Gaspar instead!



Re another topic: What is actually the status of the lurker civ? I see that Commodore is actively logging in and Lewwyn logged now as well. Has Sullla just disappeared? And are me and Boldly getting some exciting reports of global weediness to read after we've been eliminated by Gaspar?

I really, really, really hope you miss a turn somewhere.

Ok, the unconfirmed/hypothetical (IT NEVER HAPPENED) setting your unit to wander in that game one time a long time ago that didn't really matter all that much even if it did happen is not sufficient cause to full-on-Gaspar-spittle-rage war dec me... right?

I thought "Lead Boots" would be more appropriate, given previous player rankings, which is really the entire purpose of Gaspar making a thread in this game.

I gather it's already been fully agreed on...but I also concur with allowing Gasper to play turns. I don't plan to miss any anyway, so on my end it's a moot point.

Why do we have a lurker civ again?

Don't know if you noticed, but I logged into the lurker civ yesterday, and it was amazing. I took a few pictures and wrote a turn report in the lurker thread. I hope to do this once a week. Commodore has posted a couple of times earlier too. Overall though the lurker civ sees almost everything with city vision and investigation. BEWARE I can tell when you are working unimproved tiles.
