Fine ye keep the Klan, and other fascicistic organisations, we'll keep the rules preventing racists from getting a media platform.

But anyway we're digressing too much from the topic.

Back to the game... A little disappointed to see that Team Nakor has tipped their hand to LP that they are building galleons. It seems that they will need every advantage to make the war work, and little things like this could be what makes or breaks it for them.

mackoti broke the NAP again didn't he? plako's last screenshot is from turn 187, and I think at most it's turn 188 right now with the pauses and whatnot. Although luddite did cancel the silver deal.

He's definitely working on that reputation.

If I'm ever in a game with Mackoti, I'll be wary of any promises he makes.

Yeah, Mackoti DOW on T188. He raized one of Luddite's cities. Luddite says he would've saved it on T190 because he was in the process of moving rifles in.

I know it's hindsight and all... but given Mackoti's history in this game, Luddite should have been ready for something like this.

Well, the moral of the story is that he'll use nearly any minor thing as casus belli for revoking the NAP. If you have good relations it won't happen anyway. Though I'm not sure how conditional it was on the silver deal.

Mackoti has been violating agreements with Luddite from very early on.
He said something like "Please don't settle this vaguely defined area but it's okay if you do." And when he saw one of Luddite's settlers, he violated both a NAP and game rules to attack.

I'm not saying Luddite is a saint. He signed a lopsided agreement with Parkin but the city he founded in violation of it was just pointless.

I don't remember the details of the silver deal, but I don't think the silver was a condition of the NAP. It seemed more of a consolation gesture as Luddite had the definite upper hand at the time. Mackoti was already preparing to attack when Luddite canceled it, so it's not much of a casus belli.

So, why do we have any reason to NAP Mackoti anymore again...?
