By the way we should shop around for Oil now that people are getting Combustion. IIUC we can build Destroyers with Artillery and Oil, even without Combustion.

Does it matter what gp we get? Maybe run a eng and some spies and then use whatever gives us the best out put

we have oil in the south at the edge of the map it is not in our borders but we could settle on it and have another city worst of trade routes. I built a settler in the and that we could use for this. There are a few places that i want to put cities on our coastline that can stay at a size 1 or 4.just so that we have the trade routes we don't need food as all the coast tiles or work already

Fair enough, our own oil won't be online until we have combustion, though.
Edit: And we already have oil forted on south island near PM.

Yeah, but if we have a second oil then we can sell it, Combustion is due in like 6-7 turns. And the trade routes are pretty much worth it.

I meant to say yesterday, that I killed 4 infantry, 11 cossacks and an airship at AT's land then gifted away what we had remaining. BGN split his untis into 3 stacks of 2 infantry and 5-6 cossacks, of which I killed two, but didn't quite have enough cannons to kill the third stack. I placed a muskat/cannon stack as bait, but it seems I must have been too generous and left too many cannons in that stack which then got shreded. If I'd have kept 3 of them with hte main stack then I think all of BGN's units would have died.

Turn 221 played. Lost a galleon to a BGN frigate that took me by surprise. Lost a galley to a privateer. Old Harry offered us Hit Musicals. I queued up some settlers, we have 2 island cities and 4 mainland cities to settle. I requested Oil from Old Harry.

So...I'm not likely to get new glasses before next Monday, due the prescription I needIf you're having difficulty playing hte turn, I can do it but I'd appreciate it if you check it because there is a very real chance I miss something because I literally can't read the monitor unless my face is about 4 inches from the screen.

Well, as an update I've kind of fixed my glasses, inasmuch as I can wear them for short periods, probably long enough to play the turn. So I can take turn play duties back if you want?
