Turn 50:
Didn't realize this was T50, so I will do a more extensive report for T51.
Ballast Point started on another settler to prevent growing to unhappiness. Might eventually grow to size 6, whip it, and overflow out a work boat for the crabs.
Stone is starting our first library and I am set to put two chops into it.
Alpine will finish an axe EOT and then start on a worker.
Will get my settler in place to found city #6 in two turns.
Workers are ready to start chopping and mining gems now that borders popped.
I have 2 chariots and 2 axes ready to go with the settler I whip at Green Flash to push out the jungle arm towards Comm. That should be fun.
I teched Sailing in 1T which gave us an immediate +5 cpt from foreign TRs with RL7. LHs will be good at Ballast Point and city #6.
Now we need to decide whether to rush towards CoL, which will take roughly 10 turns breakeven, or Monarchy, which will take roughly 8 turns I suspect. Or we could grab Math in six turns. My inclination is CoL, but Monarchy for HR would be REALLY strong too.
Demos:
Still food leader. Need to get Lost Abbey growing.

Turn 54:
Finished Priesthood in 1-turn at 50%. I am trying to determine if anyone is going for Code of Laws. If not, we will grab Confu. If so, we will get Monarchy. Either way, we need happy. We are getting killed right now with this small cities. Seven is really pissed at the map design. MNG got gold (without jungles according to 7) and ivory, and has silver right by him. If so, that is pretty damn unbalanced.
I ended up turning our settler around, which is going to cost us 2 turns, because that jungle arm is going to be too slow. I need to get coastal cities up that can get work boats for those jungle cities, otherwise, we are going to crush our economy with stagnant cities.
So once Pizza Port and city #7 get up, I get ready to workboat clams immediately at the middle arm city. The FP/crab/fish city needs a border pop too.
I've really stopped paying attention to this game on a micro sense. I just have too much other stuff going on right now to really care.

Turn 55:
After asking everyone, I realized that I could beat Comm to Code of Laws (yes he wanted a third religion), so I am going to do that and adopt immediately. I am already working to get a GProphet at Green Flash for the shrine. Should be due in ~9 turns.
I can found city #7 next turn and city #8 the turn after. I need to make sure it doesn't slow me to CoL by more than 1 turn. Then we will save and go for Monarchy, and happy will be much better.
Whipped our second library at Ballast Point and will whip another library at Alpine next turn. That shaved a turn off Code of Laws. Whipping libraries is smart to get some infra up to offset for having so many cities.

Diplo update:
RL7 and I are working closely together. We bitch about the map and the happy distribution and have sworn jihad on the luxurious bastards across the world from us. Once I have Confu, RL7 will adopt it and spread it. I also plan to gift them furs if I can get two of them.
MNG landed TGLH. He also got a GScientist for an Academy. And he has 6-7 cities. He is the clear leader at the moment.
Comm and yuris are talking about attacking MNG to raize the TGLH. RL7 and I are going to close borders MNG and we will encourage Comm and yuris to do the same.
I am still planning on settling aggressively towards Comm.
I haven't met yuris.

Hey if Commodore is going for a religious hydra, maybe he'll end up like Izzy, head split open by the nearest psychopath. It may be a good idea to keep an eye on him, as it could mean an easy kill if he's too fixated.

Wheel map script it is. That's certainly interesting.

I would've updated this morning, but the save didn't get back to me.
We have two new cities, Port and AleSmith.
Our economy is stretched ATM. We are up to -62gpt at max science, and only making 35gpt at 0%. So right now, we are at the 30% tech rate standard. I have two more settlers being built because I don't have the happy to really grow with other builds, but I may not plant them for a little bit.
Confu should be founded this turn. Lets cross our fingers for Alpine. That would definitely be the best case scenario. Then I can spread to the capital with the free missionary to get rid of the unhappy face.
GProphet due in eight turns I think for a shrine.

Turn 59:
And the big news this turn:
And yeah, exactly where I wanted it. Converted and missionary spread to capital next turn.
Research off, and will grab Monotheism next and do OR while building infra. I may run Caste for some border pops too.
Stone will finish a worker next turn and its unhappy citizen will go onto a cottage.
Ballast Point will finish a settler next turn and grow while build a lighthouse and then Maoi.
Every city is at least size 2 now. Alesmith got there in 3 turns by stealing the Stone's corn. It will have its granary finished in 3 turns too.
Lost Abbey finished its granary EOT.
Pizza Port netted its crabs.
Alpine will use its extra happy to grow onto a cottage.
I am cottaging and roading the west pretty heavily.
I have some workers roading the jungle arm to prepare to settle the crab/clam site in the middle of the jungle arm. I think I can settle it on T65. I just have to prevent Comm from settling any further than his first jungle tile. Speaking of which, I now have a chariot overlooking the end of his jungle arm, with another chariot and two axes inbound.
Demos:
Manufacturing has slowed down because I don't really have a lot I need to build. I am switching to commerce heavy to fund my expansion.

Good for you becoming confused, it's usually my religion too. Expansion looks good too.
Could you give me a map of relative civ positions please? I'd like to see what the strategic situations look like. And I'd also say a naval push would be the best move as regard having the strategic and tactical advantages.
