[SPOILERS] Meh. Plako organizing mess

Decided to be extra cautious with Archer and moved him to North. It found HAK's warrior there. I considered a lot if Guerrilla I would have been better, but I think HAK needs to have couple of axes by now so I probably will use him as city garrison a bit later.

HAK putting a little pressure. Axe approaching. Might need to whip a Chariot from Hague.

I know I've said it before but man the lack of food is hard to witness...maybe I should not have asked for ctrl-R alright.

Pardon my ignorance, but what does Ctrl-R do?

Turns on resource bubbles. It's so ingrained in me that it's the first thing I do upon opening a save. Really wish there was a way for it to be on by default.

Yeah. It seems there are exactly 2 cities that are worth settling now i.e. one near gems and one for Copper. Later I could consider settling couple of foodless cities in the south that are at least all green.

We're pretty much in the crossroads now. This land just isn't good enough. We either need to hope that the land mass in the east is worth settling and available to us or try to grab some from HAK with Chariots. Both are huge gambles. If HAK builds even couple of Spears, they will hold on a significant stack of Chariots. Other alternative relys on having room in an unknown territory. I'm builder by heart so I'll probably continue peaceful route, but lurkers are free to express their opinions.

Lord Parkin seems to be back at his old habits of timer gaming. For several turns he has been logging in and out and delaying ending turn. It is pretty clear he has been playing cat and mouse with TT since now he captured a city from him (size 2). Last turn he waited until TT played his turn and got to bed and then double moved. It is all legitimate, but I find this being against the spirit of this game and unwelcome. I tried to formulate this on the invitation post, but apparently failed. The most competitive players will soon start to follow the suite and that will be dull for everyone. I've whined enough in the public player thread so for now I'll keep this in my thread.

From public player thread:

Basically just played it like a PBEM, expecting build to complete and by the time I remembered it doesn't the move was done, leaving an unguarded capital at precisely the wrong time.

Looks like its a race to raze Tebow now!

I'm speechless. LP is good, but he is also incredibly lucky. Assuming TwinkleToes is soon here - You should really pay more attention to these games.
