So two things. First of all, I think we've worried Team NAP-break.

Secondly, dots...we need to push north, but incense settle messes with the west.

Also, Seven got a great scientist.

OKay. This is where I stop until I get some input on the next city; I favor the incense, but that can really screw with a potential western spot.

Mackoti is on the move; we'll have axes available in time, but if I were him I'd be pushing south to settle the border (spear is 1W of the lower spice). At the same time, the galley adds a nasty dimension we have to address. Finally, sailing, plus masonry (they founded Monotheism)...GLH incoming, so we need to block that island.

Joao is being Joao. Workers incoming, overflow will net another worker.

I think the incense is the way to go too. Ideally we'd plant on the spot E of the rice and pick up the fish with a city on the west coast -- but the city on the west coast will need a border pop to get either food resource in its culture and the city up north will need IW to be productive at all. So incense seems the lesser of two evils.

With mack&seven, we need to get a boat in the water. It can transport our own settlrs westwrd later, but we need at least something should they come by with galleys. I don't think i need to tell you what happens when your opponent is using galleys to shuttle units to your backline...

I also favor settling on the incense. That was always one of my top city spots. I'll be on gchat for the next few hours.

Bit of extra discussion with Lewwyn, once we know we're getting a free missionary with Confucianism, here's Joao's next city. This is one of those beasts that are traps, normally, given the borders have to pop. Still, we lust after that +2c trade route.
