You could worldbuilder in a scout, tell it to autoexplore, and delete it, in your base save. Different random seed and it will stay consistent after you find one with no forest growths.

Alternately, blanket the whole map with city ruins? wink

Hmm yes I like the city ruins idea. Will do that in the future.

Oh, and btw, we win the postcount-war right now. Quite handily even. That's an unknown feeling for me lol

I'm pretty sure we are set to settle on the plains hill, right? I don't think anything the scout can reveal by moving 1SW, 1SE will change the decision. So, since we'll reveal those tiles when we settle the Capital anyway, maybe we should just go north with the scout, since south is tundra.

great, here's something I can contribute too and feel useful smile. once you have more map revealed maybe I'll even log in to take 30 different pictures of every possible tile, pb8 style :P.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

Ichabod was right, there really was not much point in moving the scout down south now as the settler indeed was not going to not settle on the PH. After settling and not revealing any more resources I moved the scout onto the PH next to the stone. Revealed food in second ring for a potential "on the stone"-city. Which is fine if we go for SH. I mean that won't be a good city like ever, but it can work at least two grasslands for a potential cottage city, it can work the FP-cottage (when we have one on that tile) and if we let it keep the pig, except for growth-periods of the potential cottage-city, it can work both PH + FP + one of the ivories for a total of 12 or 13 fh (depending how much the city center is yielding). Yeah, that city will never be great, no matter how much I try to make it.

If we wouldn't need to settle on the stone there would be a better city to be fit it. Maybe it can be made better if we farm instead of cottage a few of the tiles. Hard to say, after all half of that city is coast or ocean and simply will never be good (do I hear Colossus? Because that start seems to scream for it...).
