I was amused at the hours we kept. We were hardcore gamers back then.
CelticHound sends out a distress call at 3 am and got helpers.....
I remember I often sign off around 3-4 am, maybe an hour earlier than Charis (but he's in Boston). I will be up again around 8-9 am and Charis is already playing in the office. And then there's this judge (who shall remain unnamed here if you don't already know him) who would be nodding off in court because we kept him up all night

While I understand why we keep switching the quote, I wonder if we shouldn't focus on something more recent?
I know I for one didn't get the meaning even after following the link, and I just wonder whether it has any meaning to people when its something from so long ago.

Don't worry if you don't get it, we are in the same boat. I don't get some of the qotms others put up either, and not made a fuss.

The link to the old forum is nice and has brought some memories. OTOH is it really already 11 years past that I joined the realms beyond? - Oh boy I'm feeling even older than usual now.

I love the old quotes. They remind me of a forum I used to run with our own small community. We had maybe 30 people posting, but we lasted a good few years. It was the best.

I would prefer quotes that are pertinent to current usage of the site.
