Dazed showed up with a galley and updated his thread. Maybe he didn't expect to find greek borders. smile

I'm scouting out the southern central island with a chariot. I found a jungled rice that I want to settle a city on top of, grabbing ivory, clams, copper, and a 3-food plant. I'll probably settle the equivalent spot north of Pita instead though, if Dazed lets me. That spot is actually just 8 distance from my capital.

Zak's capital expanded to fourth ring, grabbing the hill my units were occupying. So I pillaged the brand new road and retreated my units. I'll try to just hold my horses in Pita for the time being, especially since Dazed is snooping around.

Demos after ending turn. My economy is no longer completely crashed.

Wait and see. Maybe Boldly starts running away, maybe Dazed thinks I'm the one to slow down, who knows. I'm not really sure what the real balance of power is at the moment. Math->Currency->Construction should be good for my economy as well.

I would try to delay Construction in that case. We badly need both Iron Working and Calendar.

Turn 58 was a quiet turn. Dazed moved his galley to the tile 1W of Pita's fish, which I took to be a friendly gesture until I (re)remembered that the fish is ocean and safe from pillaging.

Somebody not Zak got a great general, it seems we have two parallel duels going on at the moment.

Looks like you can turn tech on and finish Mathematics with 2t of burn in 2t. lol
