- PB52s problems started around the 6th August and T130. Now PB54 only started near the end of August.
- PB53 seems to have no problems of that kind, right?
- It's noteworthy that PB52 and PB54 are often down at the same time. (*)
- The admin page is still available in case of these problems, I was still able to extends the timer for example.
Possible causes:
The mod: But if it's the mod, why does PB53 have no problems, which is a version between those are other PBs
PB52 and PB54 in conflict: Less likely because the problems in PB52 started earlier
I'm in contact with Ramk and we may try to setup a session together to investigate these issues further.
Because of * I assume the issue is connected (if it is releated…) with one or multiple players which participate in PB52 & PB54 but not PB53. The player tries to join game A, fails and try to join the second one.
My candidates would be Charriu, Mjmd, Gira, Miguelito(?). Unless we could not reproduce the bug it is hard to gain any knowlege if this is true.
List of players as reference
@all:
If the bug occours,
nobody can connect until the server is restarted. The game is still manageable over PBSpy, so every game admin can restart it. In most cases this will resolve the problem ATM. Unfortunately, we already notice that the bug can be triggered again (directly after the restart) by player A, but not player B. Some times/restarts later it works for player A again.
@Charriu: If the error occours the next time, and we had both time I want test if
a) we could both sniff the network traffic
b) it helps to disable our 'pb watchdog' script on the server. I do not want disable it permanently but for a short amount of time.
The
watchdog is searching for unclosed network connections after a player leaves the game.

@Jowy (below): Yes, I can fix it directly.
