And size of the map doesn't really mean and awful lot - PB3 had a "small" huge map and you never bordered more than about 4 players at a time.
I wasn't claiming it was actually possible to make a PB4 map that Sullla would approve of. wink

Agreed.

Does that account for the unworked cottages in Sulla's cap vs Speaker's cap?

Is 14 cottage turns and the lost commerce and food right now worth the earlier Academy? (not accounting for any roads that might be built in the meantime?)

I doubt it.

Sullla has a friking awesome B-cracy cap and should be growing it as fast as possible into cottages (including those grasshills. nm the hammers, you want commerce from this city: anything else is gravy.). Slam as many warriors/archers into the city as needed to keep the happy cap up and work those cottages under B-cracy.

Screw mines, screw whipping. That's what you've got your other cities for

Sunrise is generating the GS and he's referring to the time it takes to travel from sunrise's GP location to either of the two capitals. I think Sullla is growing the capital as fast as possible - he has 4 MP units in there as it is.
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

Its an interesting situation. You could re-prioritize Workers to get the road network improved. What's the opportunity cost of that, or of building more Workers? What is the ancillary benefit of the better road network? There is the straight forward calculation of beakers lost during those seven turns vs. beakers gained/turn by placing the Academy in the significantly better capital, and determine whether you break even before the next GS is ready.

I can't see the old pictures anymore because my company is now blocking dropbox frown. How much commerce is Speaker pulling vs. Sulla?

That's a dealbreaker!

Now Sullla's even getting mad at Speaker for his turnplaying availability.

Also Kuro missed another turn with no check-in or explanation, but TMIT noticed and played for him.

I wouldn't be surprised if the game ends up as basically Sullla vs TMIT.

Am I the only one who keeps reading TMIT's "I" as an "N" and thus thinks that team loser is totally radical and awesome?
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.

I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.

EDIT: Don't worry though, I ran 100% culture slider to compensate.

I read that as Speaker taking Sullla's half-joke too seriously. And I'm not sure if Kuro even notices when he misses a turn.
